First impressions matter, especially during an employee's initial days in an organization. Effective onboarding, which helps new hires integrate into their roles, has been shown to improve employee retention. However, onboarding often receives little attention in leadership discussions.

​

This report aims to benchmark and share onboarding practices across 40+ non-profits in India, offering insights into how different organizations approach this critical process.

One of the recurring queries over the last year in the non-profit HR community has been on travel reimbursements and travel policy benchmarking. Given the changing fuel costs, the resuming of movement among team members in the post-COVID world, this takes significance. 

 

To that end, a public document has been created, with the data provided by some wonderful organizations – to provide an aggregated, preliminary idea, to review organizations' travel policies.

I had the pleasure of coordinating a radical and pioneering effort: a community-driven, rapid benchmarking of compensation and benefits of ~100 non-profit organizations across India. This was a fab experiment in collaboration and trust.

 

When the report was completed, they all agreed that this would be useful for others, and we went ahead and made a public version of the report. How cool is that!
